This third session in our AI in Compliance masterclass series focuses on how risk and compliance teams can build AI agents that execute repeatable workflows safely and with the right controls in place.
When we ran a poll asking 200 workshop attendees what compliance use case they wanted to see covered next, horizon scanning came out on top. So that's what we decided to build in this session.
Build your own AI agent for Horizon Scanning
Horizon scanning sounds simple, but in practice, it’s messy, manual, and hard to scale. You’re pulling information from multiple sources, judging its relevance, filtering out noise, and then trying to map changes to the impacted business areas, policies and controls.
This session covers practical implementation on:
- How to design AI-enabled horizon scanning workflows
- How to build agents that scan and filter for relevant alerts
- How to embed governance and human oversight into the process
Guest speaker: Justine Wootton, UK Compliance Director at Capital on Tap.
Justine Wootton recently joined Capital on Tap as UK Compliance Director, following 3.5 years at NHBC where she served as Head of Compliance and Conduct Risk. She brings a breadth of legal and compliance experience across both traditional and fintech businesses spanning banking, payments, and insurance.
In this session, she shares her experience building a horizon-scanning agent using Google Gemini, including her approach to designing clear, precise prompts that remain accessible to non-technical users, as well as the benefits and realistic limitations of deploying such agents in compliance workflows.
Who should attend
Compliance leaders, MLROs, risk and assurance professionals, audit teams, policy owners, and anyone responsible for designing, operating, or overseeing AI-enabled compliance processes.
