About the role
At Zango, we believe the future of compliance is AI-driven, but this is only possible if our AI agents are rigorously tested, trained and refined by human insight. We’re looking for an individual who will act as a critical human-in-the-loop, to lead and transform the QA function at Zango.
The QA function’s duty is to synthesize regulatory sources to test and validate the outputs of our AI agents. As the AI Quality Specialist, you will build workflows, structures, and standards from the ground up, to ensure this is done efficiently, accurately and at scale. But your ambition won’t stop there, you will aim towards a future where human QA becomes almost unnecessary. The processes, tools, and standards you put in place will ensure that our AI agents interpret financial regulations with the highest levels of accuracy, trust, and completeness, with minimal human intervention.
What you’ll do
- Design the quality checking processes for our AI agent outputs, but importantly, redefine traditional QA workflows, explore new innovative strategies to automate processes, drive efficiencies, whilst ensuring a high degree of accuracy
- Hands on execution - analyse regulatory sources to review and validate AI agent outputs,
- Understand the nuances between multiple product lines and adapting to the distinct needs of each
- Collaborate and act as a bridge between various functions including tech, product and our compliance subject matter experts across India and the EU/UK, with reasonable overlap in working hours to ensure alignment
- Lay the foundation of the QA function, with scope to scale it into a team as the business evolves
Who we’re looking for
- 4-8 years of experience in quality assurance, internal audit or risk, or a related role which involves detail-oriented checking procedures (engineering background not necessary)
- Hands-on QA experience in evaluating AI agent outputs is a plus
- Experience in leveraging AI, automation and other innovative tools in designing quality checking processes and frameworks
- Strong communication skills to be able to work effectively with various functions including tech, product, and our compliance subject matter experts, across different geographies and technical backgrounds
- Ability to be deeply hands on and execute QA processes, while also capable of building and managing a team
- Experience in industries like financial services, accounting, legal or compliance is a plus
